squares is a puzzle game that respects your privacy. We collect no personal information, use no advertising, and perform no tracking of any kind.
squares stores the following data locally on your device: your game history (boards played and solutions), your settings and preferences, your daily challenge streak, and your tutorial progress. This data never leaves your device unless you enable iCloud sync.
If you choose to enable iCloud sync in settings, your game history and streak data are synced across your devices using Apple's iCloud and CloudKit services. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is governed by Apple's privacy policy. We do not have access to your iCloud data. You can disable iCloud sync at any time in the app's settings.
The app fetches daily challenge board data from our server (squaresga.me). This is a simple file download — no personal information is sent or collected during this request.
When you share a board, the app generates a URL containing an encoded version of the board layout. No personal information is included in shared links.
squares does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
squares does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
